After moving to Nashville in 2012, I fell in love with the city and exploring the diverse neighborhoods, restaurants, parks, and everything this big-small town has to offer. The decision to start a family and have a more flexible schedule shifted my professional goals and I decided to leave my career as a high school math teacher and instructional technology coach to pursue real estate in 2017.

My background as a teacher allows me to help my clients understand each step of the real estate transaction no matter how complicated. After working with many first-time buyers and first-time sellers, those instructional skills have proved vital in ensuring that each client feels confident and informed throughout the buying or selling process. Building relationships through real estate has been such a reward. What a gift to see friends turn into clients and clients turn into friends.

Being a Realtor has allowed me to live a life beyond my wildest dreams, where I earn a living to support my family and at the same time have so much quality time with them. As Nashville continues to grow, I plan to keep exploring this vibrant city one restaurant, play date, and home sale at a time.

She works with her clients very well to inform them of the process and incorporates their wishes into every step. My house sat on the market for 4 months after 3 price reductions. The other realtor I worked with removed the listing. I gave it to Katy and she got new pictures that were amazing and listed my house at a price I was happy with but still competitive.
