The house-buying process was stressful and difficult for me. Thinking over this last year I believe that the reason I finally was able to decide on and buy a house was because of Kristi Goldstein. When I was ready just to give up because I found it too stressful, Kristi would send emails with updated houses, some different cities, and different areas to think about. She would also send short just checking texts randomly which enabled me to take breaks from looking at properties but also to still remember the best thing to do is to look and explore different areas and to be able to pinpoint what I wanted. Just helped immensely and I am grateful. I did end up buying in an area that I hadn't considered before and thinking back over the properties that I felt really would have liked and the properties that I put an offer on that did not work out I think that this house in this area is the best choice for me. I've been in the Navy for a little over 22 years. I've moved 6 times now and bought 4 houses during that time frame. As I near retirement, Emily and I have been under a lot o... I've been in the Navy for a little over 22 years. I've moved 6 times now and bought 4 houses during that time frame. As I near retirement, Emily and I have been under a lot of stress. This is a tremendous and scary transition for me, and Emily has now returned home to Tennessee where her family resides after following the Navy around most of her adult life. As you all know, I have not been able to visit Tennessee as much during the home purchasing process once Emily and Kristi found the property. I am very use to being extremely involved in life altering decisions and have had to take a back seat to one of the most pivotal decisions in our lives; choosing where to plant roots for our family. Emily and I had not planned on purchasing a home so soon after the selling of our last property, but circumstances sped that process up and we had to shift gears rapidly. We were unprepared, full of anxiety, and shooting from the hip...until we met Kristi, Todd (and Todd's Team!), Kandi, and everyone else working behind the scenes that helped us secure our new home. Emily and I had a ranked list of homes in order of desirable features we each had to concede to. This property was not on that list and found last minute. This property has everything Emily and I have been dreaming of, talking about, and looking for in our future home. There was absolutely nothing we conceded on. We had to make this work, and all of you played a huge role in doing so. After 22+ years of caring for junior Sailors, keeping them on the correct career path, and making sure their families were taken care, I transition to the civilian sector with no one I helped support, caring about how I do. That's the life I chose - selfless servitude. This transition to Tennessee has taken its toll. There was barely a net to catch us if things fell through and I wasn't there to support my family. That's where all of you came in. There wasn't a week or day that went by where Kristi didn't reach out to "check-up" on us, Todd team didn't call me to make sure we could get the numbers to work...and Kandi got us across the finish line. You all have made this process very smooth. I could trust that my family was in good hands and focus on closing out my Naval career without the added stress. I want to thank all of you for helping my family find and secure the home we've been looking for at a time when nothing else was certain! We could not of had a better team of friendly, consummate professionals help us lay the foundation for the next chapter in our lives! She completed the showing in a timely and professional manner. She recommended that if we liked the house we should make an offer immediately which we were able to do with her help. After the offer was presented and accepted Kristi helped coordinate needed inspections and was present to admit vendors and available for any questions they had. The sellers had ordered new windows which were not installed before time of purchase due to long lead time for window orders. Kristi was available to let installers in as they were ready after sellers moved out and before we moved in. The process went very smoothly. I highly recommend her for all of your real estate needs. Kristi was, by far, one of the most patient, knowledgeable, transparent and communicative Agents I've ever worked with! Her and her husband went above and beyond to show me a number of homes that would work as investment properties and, more importantly, to make me feel as though we've known each other for years! They really do get to know you not just as a Buyer, but as a human being and because of that, I can see us being lifelong friends. Prior to my arrival in Tennessee, Kristi and her husband sent me several comprehensive lists of properties along with added notes/details that provided insight into each of the properties. As an out-of-town Buyer, it's difficult to navigate a market where prices and homes fluctuate so much from city to city, which is why I found Kristi's local knowledge incredibly beneficial. She always took the time to answer all the questions I had pertaining to the local rental rates and investment regulations enforced by different counties within Tennessee. Although I haven't found the perfect property yet, I'm confident that with her and her husband's help, I'll be able to do just that in the next couple months.
