About Me

George Rowe, III attended Pepperdine University and Pepperdine School of Law in Malibu, California on full scholarships at both schools.  During law school, George clerked for a law firm on Cape Cod, providing legal services with an emphasis in real estate for homes in the private Hyannis Port compound as well as municipal real estate and zoning work for several towns on the Cape.

After graduating from law school, George worked in the Development Office of Pepperdine, doing tax and estate planning for large, complex estates that were being donated to the university, continuing with a focus on real estate in the range of $8M to $100M residential and commercial properties.  By day, that is.  At night and on weekends, George was writing music, and singing/playing keyboards in gigs around Los Angeles.  This led to George getting original songs placed in TV shows and on movie soundtracks, which ultimately culminated in his getting a recording contract with Michael W. Smith’s Rocketown Records in Franklin, TN, a song publishing deal with BMG Nashville, and signing with the William Morris Agency to be his agent.  George and his family moved from Malibu to Nashville in 2003 to live near the people he was now working with.  His first single “Everlasting” went number one on the charts, and his first outside cut (“Broken”) on another artist was produced and recorded by mega producer David Foster.  George worked several years as a touring recording artist and songwriter.  He is also a Dove Award nominee.

While still enjoying creative outlets, George has kept his finger on the pulse of the real estate market, closely following commercial and residential properties for the last 16 years that he’s lived in Nashville.  Tapping into his early professional life of working with real estate, George is now representing buyers and sellers on transactions ranging from those for first-time home buyers to those buying and selling luxury homes and condos.   He is an effective communicator and intentional listener.  He has a strong work ethic and an attentive eye for detail.  These skills serve his clients well.

George serves on the Board of Directors at Greater Nashville REALTORS®.   He is active in the Hillsboro High School PTO, where his youngest child, Jake, is a junior.  His daughter, Addyson is a freshman at Duke University and his daughter, Ireland, is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee.  He is a member of the Green Hills YMCA, and does charitable work with Habitat for Humanity and The Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital and Vanderbilt University.  George performs with the Nashville Symphony Chorus.  You will often see George around town enjoying his hobbies of photography, kayaking, and running.
