It all began in her hometown of Auburn, AL, with her grandfather, homebuilder Jack Bailey, founder of Bailey Harris Construction, and the family concrete business, Twin City Concrete (now part of Sherman International). Whether it was childhood summers spent riding from job site to job site in the back of her grandfather's truck, or working with her mother at the concrete plant keeping the manual ledger books and reconciling concrete batch slips, she learned the ropes from the inside out.
An Auburn native, Jana graduated from Auburn High School and attended Auburn University where she received both a BS in Political Science and an MBA degree. She spent 15 plus years working in healthcare administration as a professional coder/biller, as well as a medical practice administrator. In 2013 Jana made the decision to turn her attention to real estate and earned her Alabama license and REALTOR status. She loves that her career in real estate allows her the opportunity to pursue her interest in architecture, construction, and design, all while helping people find amazing spaces to call their own. Dear to Jana's heart is the preservation and renovation of existing and historical homes. Jana served as a planning commissioner for the City of Auburn, AL from 2018 - 2022, where she was deeply involved in the decision-making process that has shaped the vision for Auburn's future development.
In 2023 Jana relocated to beautiful Franklin, TN, where she is excited to bring her years of experience and to the middle Tennessee market. She truly believes in commitment to community, loving where you live, and the idea that buying a home is not just about buying bricks, but about finding a place for you to make your life goals a reality. Her decision to join Parks was an easy one. Park's dedication to professionalism, training, community involvement, and Finding Your Place convinced her to place her license with their Franklin office.
