I have happily completed my 28th year in real estate, with extensive sales and current transactions in both Davidson and Williamson counties. I also work in surrounding counties. I live in Franklin and have an office in Hillsboro Village, Nashville.

I am a proud Father of Michael Chambers and Barbra Chambers; I am also pround to say that I have 2 Grandchildren.

I worked as a retail executive for 24 years, with 15 years as a regional and district manager for Target stores in Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan. I managed a $270 million dollar district with 2700 associates in Detroit. I have a B.S. Degree from West Virginia University with an emphasis on Advertising. I also have an ABR, CRS and GRI designations in Real Estate.

In our looking for a new home in Nashville, important qualities in a real estate agent for us were for the agent to be accessible, tenacious, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to work with. We found all of these requirements in John. While having breakfast our second visit to the city, and our waitress asked the usual questions (are you from Nashville?, do live in the area? can I get you some more coffee?). When we shared we were relocating to the area, she insisted on providing us with John's information in great detail. By the end of the conversation, we felt like we had already met him. She gushed over how helpful and reassuring he was in finding her the perfect home no matter how much time and effort it took. This was Sunday, and we called first thing Monday morning. He answered the call with his soon-to-be echo in our heads, "John Chambers." We met within two hours and started the quest immediately. He quickly learned what we were looking for based on our individual needs and desires. After putting contracts on two homes and dealing with the disappointment they weren't for us, we closed within six weeks or so of starting the process. We are trying to keep this professional, but as everyone homeowner knows, finding a new home can be extremely stressful and emotional.
