Parks is proud to highlight one of our amazing agents from our Franklin office, Greg Fritz! Greg has been a part of the Parks family for three years and a real estate agent for the past four years.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from East Tennessee State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University. When it comes to real estate, he specializes in first-time buyers, new construction, relocation, and investment properties – both short-term and long-term.
Prior to real estate, Greg worked as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Big Idea Entertainment for 13 years. They were well-known for the VeggieTales cartoon franchise. Greg also spent four years working for Word Entertainment as Senior Vice President of Marketing, and six years as Senior Vice President of Business Administration for Capitol Christian Music Group.
After 13 years in his previous role, Greg chose to become a real estate agent because he was ready for change and a new challenge, as well as a new career that was locally focused. More than 20 years ago, he and his wife inadvertently became house flippers after buying a small fixer-upper, making improvements, and selling it for a profit. After doing this six times over the following 14 years, Greg developed a love for real estate and the house-hunting process. During this time, he met a number of very impressive real estate agents and began asking questions about the job, the industry, and what it’s like on a day-to-day basis. Soon after, Greg got his license in 2016 and transitioned to being a full-time agent about nine months later.
When asked why he chose to join the Parks Family of REALTORS®, Greg stated, “I wanted to be with a brokerage that had a solid footprint and reputation in the Nashville market; one that had a strong brand and offered agents meaningful marketing and administrative support. With those goals in mind, I began meeting with potential brokerages.” He continued, “The search ended about an hour and a half after I walked into my meeting with the Parks recruiter! I was so impressed with the company culture, the commitment to excellence, and the marketing services and admin support that was offered. Nearly three years later, I am still honored and proud to be a part of such an amazing company.”
If Greg could offer a tip to new agents, it would be to fully immerse yourself into all things real estate. “Be committed to continuing education, get a mentor, write letters, make phone calls, host open houses, and create a strong social media presence. Also, focus on relationships, be yourself, and have fun!” he said.
Greg has had many professional accomplishments during his time in the real estate industry. He will hold the roles of Community Outreach Committee Member and Vice Chair of the REALTOR® Services Committee for the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® in 2021. On top of that, Greg earned his Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation and is currently working on his Broker’s license. Outside of real estate, he was also a certified trainer for 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys spending time with family and friends, game nights, concerts, boating, traveling, playing piano, and reading. Fun fact: In 1986, Greg was taken hostage!
