It’s Farmers Market season again! Overflowing with the best produce in Middle Tennessee, these local gems are always popular, so arrive as early as you can to secure parking and the first crack at produce selection.

Though many vendors do accept cards, it’s a good idea to bring cash. Expect the markets to be crowded, and plan to spend more time than you would at a typical grocery store. Take time to stroll and browse, taste everything that looks good, and remember your reusable bags! Enjoy another beautiful spring and summer season in Middle Tennessee.

Expect to see your favorite vendors again this year, including Apple & Oak, Nash Collection, Aero Bar, Pet Wants, Califarmia, and Amelia’s Flower truck.

All events are free and open to all ages. Dogs are also welcome!

A portion of the proceeds generated at each Gulch Night Market event will be donated to a local charity.

Nashville Farmers Market

900 Rosa L. Parks Blvd | Nashville
7 days a week, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The Nashville Farmers Market is one of the few year-round markets in the state. The produce selection shifts seasonally, but anything delicious growing in Tennessee will be available here most days of the week.

The indoor Market House boasts seventeen locally-owned restaurants offering a delightful range of cuisines from around the globe (Korean, Mediterranean, Italian, Jamaican, and local Nashville delicacies among them).

More like Ponce City Market or Pike Place Market than your typical farmers market, this spacious, wildly eclectic venue is not to be missed. Highlights include renowned Moose Head Kettle Corn, artisan baked goods, clothing, a succulent nursery, and a limited selection of fresh local produce.

Franklin Farmers Market

230 Franklin Road | Franklin

This popular market is packed with local produce, food trucks, homemade desserts and tea blends, local eggs and dairy, grass-fed meats, and icy cold drinks in addition to the expected wide array of local and organic produce. Be sure to visit the local artists offering handcrafted goods and art, listen to some bluegrass, and if you can, snag a bag of kettle corn!

Reviewers love the friendly vendors and array of produce throughout the seasons.

Lebanon Farmers Market

143 South Maple Street | Lebanon
Tuesday – Saturday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Though this much-beloved community market is comparatively smaller than some on our list, it offers a beautifully curated selection of local produce, jams and jellies, Tennessee relish, and the much-recommended Kimberly Underwood of Watertown, rumored to be a must-visit local farmer.

East Nashville Farmers Market

Wednesdays, May – October, 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.

The East Nashville Farmers Market, conveniently located next to the Shelby Park playground, offers local produce, honey, jams and jellies, hand-crafted gifts and art, food trucks, live music, and one of the less-crowded market experiences in the area. Reviewers love the knowledgeable, helpful, outgoing vendors and the thoughtful offerings from farmers who cater to the smaller space.

Luscious handmade soaps, Eat Like Kings Bakery, and the joy of seeing children and dogs playing freely all make this venue a must-shop this spring and summer.

Hendersonville Farmers Market

300 Indian Lake Blvd | Hendersonville
Saturdays, May 18th through September 14th, 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Berry Farms Farmers Market

4000 Hughes Crossing | Franklin

The Farmers Market at Berry Farms is open during the harvest seasons in the Berry Farms Town Center. Expect a wide selection of local produce, grass-fed meats, dairy, poultry, hand-made desserts, jams and jellies, and honey.
