Nashville is experiencing a vibrant resurgence of restaurant openings, which we more than welcome after two of the most challenging years endured by the service industry. It has been exciting for our team to visit new spots, though they've been opening so quickly that it has definitely been a challenge to keep up!

Today, we're sharing our picks for the ten best new restaurants in Nashville—so far. Each restaurant listed has opened in 2022, garnered enthusiastic reception, and will therefore be best enjoyed with reservations—especially on weekends.

Drusie & Darr by Jean-Georges
231 6th Ave N, Nashville

Jean-Georges Vongerichten is a world-famous Michelin-starred chef whose impeccable farm-to-table modern American cuisine showcases fresh, organic produce, pasture-fed meat and dairy, and wild fish. In fact, The Hermitage Hotel grows the bulk of the restaurant's produce right in their garden at Glen Leven.

Drusie & Darr's gorgeous interior boasts features that date back to 1902, including Beaux-Arts era oak walls and vaulted ceilings. Additionally, their furniture includes custom pieces created by famed New York architect Thomas Juul-Hansen.

Retreat within the soft-focus glamor of Drusie & Darr for your special occasion, or anytime you wish to escape the hustle and bustle with friends and family.

The Pink Hermit by Jean-Georges
231 6th Avenue N | Nashville

Jean-Georges Vongerichten has created The Pink Hermit (located within The Hermitage Hotel) to function as Drusie & Darr's more laid-back, casual sister. This lovely, inviting cafe offers a menu that changes as the day goes by. Stop by in the morning for coffee and pastries; return at lunchtime for salads, sandwiches, and sides; then linger over a dinner menu ideal for your stop before or after you experience one of action-packed Nashville's theater or concert events.

Boqueria Fifth + Broadway
5005 Broadway Pl | Nashville

Hot off a rousing success in New York's sizzling restaurant scene, Boqueria has arrived in Nashville. This tapas restaurant serves authentic small plates in a massive dining room that holds up to 150 diners indoors alone—and there's patio seating, too!

Sporting an accessible, industrial-chic feel, Boqueria is surrounded by retail hotspots, making it an ideal destination to break up a busy day of shopping.

Acqua by RJ Cooper
1300 3rd Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208

RJ Cooper has already made quite the name for himself in Germantown with his beloved American restaurant, Saint Stephen. Now he has expanded his offerings with Acqua, serving elegant Italian cuisine in a progressive tasting menu format. Prepare for a night of delectable seafood delights served over 14 to 16 courses. Acqua is cheery, minimalist, and available by reservations only.

809 Meridian St | Nashville

Sean Brock is one of the South's true celebrity chefs, earning his acclaim through an unwavering passion for outstanding flavors handcrafted with new and traditional methods. With June, his new restaurant, he has made a mouthwatering return to the tasting menus that first gained him national attention in 2010.

Brock has declared this restaurant to be his most ambitious project yet. Don't miss this 20+ course experience; the elaborate menu will change twice per year, and dishes may never reappear once they're gone.

Layer Cake Social Kitchen
127 3rd Ave S | Nashville

Layer Cake Social Kitchen has made no secret of its intention to serve as a social media hotspot, and it is already wildly successful in this endeavor. Each of the club's 4 levels presents distinct offerings, so decor and experiences change as one moves from floor to floor.

Enter on the ground floor, and you'll arrive in the bar. Head upstairs, and you'll reach floor two's full-service restaurant serving dishes from around the world. Head up to the rooftop, and you'll reach the club—but you'll have to ask for VIP access to the private Cherry Lounge on level three.

Spicy Boy’s
924 Mcferrin Ave, Nashville

Spicy Boy's Louisiana native owners have opened this Creole and Cajun restaurant in a beautiful historic home in East Nashville. Come on down for classic Louisiana cuisine, and be sure to visit the full bar to enjoy the perfect fozen daquiri!

Punk Wok
4101 Charlotte Ave suite G-20 | Nashville

Punk Wok has claimed the title of "American izakaya," and you're officially invited! Make plans to enjoy traditional and fusion cuisine for lunch or dinner as punk and funk tunes fill the air.

Please note that this new venture's outrageously tasty eats and small footprint have made it absolutely essential to make a reservation online as far in advance as possible before you would like to visit.

The Electric Jane
1301 Division St | Nashville

The Electric Jane will provide the spark you need to enjoy a high-voltage night out on the town, or to continue the fun over a "high-energy power brunch." This restaurant feels distinctly clubby, and that's entirely by design. Bring your friends, your glamorous selfie best, your phone, and socialize over modern dishes as live entertainment keeps the party going.

Halls Chophouse
1600 West End Ave, Suite 101 | Nashville

Halls Chophouse is already a Tennessee favorite, so their Nashville location needs no introduction. You've no doubt experienced their warm hospitality and top-quality classic cuisine; now, enjoy them anew in this upscale Broadwest location, complete with live jazz throughout the week. We love Halls Chophouse for special occasions, date nights, and celebratory gatherings.
