Let the month of love and, most importantly, the Super Bowl, begin! Wine in Winter is back, as are other local favorites like Murfreesboro's 3rd Annual Handmade Market and Lightning 100's Chocolate Affair. New events are always popping up so make sure to mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a whole lot of fun!


February 1st: Chinese New Year Celebration
Vanderbilt University Corner Park | Nashville

The Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville is teaming up with many partners to host the Chinese New Year! There will be professional jugglers, the Nashville Public Library's Puppet Truck, Chinese dance, music and songs, Chinese Yo-Yo, Chinese naming, arts and crafts for children, bamboo dance, Chinese language students’ presentations, and the traditional Chinese lion and dragon dance.


February 1st: 3rd Annual Handmade Market
Mid-TN Expo | Murfreesboro

This is an all-handmade craft fair with free admission! Every vendor is a local artisan with handmade items for sale. Guests will have access to 80+ vendors, including full-service food vendors. There will also be door prizes for the first 50 customers so get there early! You will have a chance to get your hands on truly unique items that can't be found anywhere else.


February 6-9th: Star Wars in Concert: Return of the Jedi
Schermerhorn Symphony Center | Nashville

The Nashville Symphony's Nathan Aspinall will be conducting this spectacular show! Guests who arrive early will have a chance to get photos with members of The 501st Legion and The Rebel Legion. In the sixth episode of the Star Wars saga, Darth Vader readies the second Death Star to unleash the final blow to the Rebel Alliance. But the ultimate battle is between father and son, as Luke faces Darth Vader one last time, for the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance.


February 7-23rd: Steel Magnolias
Jamison Theater in the Factory at Franklin Center | Franklin

Studio Tenn is bringing back Steel Magnolias, Robert Harling’s beloved play about the hope, healing, and humor possible in the midst of heartache. Surround yourself with this cast of Louisiana ladies in Truvy’s hair parlor as they bond through beauty shop gossip, laughter, loss, and love. Steel Magnolias is a production that promises each delicate-but-strong character the close-up they deserve, as well as each audience member a fully immersive, emotional experience!


February 8th: Zoo Run Run
Nashville Zoo at Grassmere | Nashville

Come out and join the herd of runners at Zoo Run Run! This winter race takes runners and walkers on a 5K adventure throughout the Zoo’s property, including some areas not available to the public. Families and children are encouraged to bundle up as they hit the trail, in case of chilly winter weather. All proceeds from the Zoo Run Run help fund Zoo operations and the event is a rain, snow, or shine event. Everyone is welcome to do a brisk stroll instead of a run. Be aware that some of the course is off-road!


February 8th: Wine in Winter
Hilton Downtown | Nashville

The 5th Annual Wine in the Winter is modeled after its sister event, Wine on the River! Attendees will be able to take a break from the cold and sample over 130+ wine, beer, and spirits in a Winter Wonderland setting in the heart of downtown Nashville. Grab your friends, get dressed up, and go out for a fun wine tasting experience!


February 8th: Lightning 100's Chocolate Affair
The Parthenon | Nashville

Lightning 100's Chocolate Affair brings some of the greatest things in life together - food, drinks, music, and chocolate! Nashville food artisans will be sampling their flagship creations, ranging from sweet to savory. Guests will experience flavors from the best chocolatiers, candy creators, bakers, and food makers, all in one place. The mood will be set by Rebecca Sayre's jazz quartet while unique beer and liquor selections will line the bars, and chocolate fountains will be stocked and flowing!


February 13-15th: Heart of Tennessee Antique Show
Wilson County Expo Center | Lebanon

Antique show guests will stroll into the booths of exceptional exhibitors that have one of a kind folk art, antique furniture, early paintings, stunning jewelry, beautiful handmade quilts, silver, pottery and more! This is your chance to find rare, unique items for your collection. You can spend all day looking at the vast array of items and learning about their history. Don't miss out!


February 21-23rd: All American Circus
National Guard Armory | Columbia

Oscar Garcia is presenting his all-new show for 2020! All American Circus will feature all the classics of a real American family circus. Get the kids ready and go early to enjoy the kid's fun zone before showtime, which features a pet pony and dog. The show will include every circus act you love, like clowns, adrenaline-pumping stunts, beautiful acts, and so much more!


February 29th: Maker Market & Craft Fair
Bledsoe Creek State Park | Gallatin

Bledsoe Creek's Maker Market & Craft Fair is calling all scientists, engineers, artists, and crafters to share their hobbies, experiments, and projects! This craft show will be a family-friendly gathering of creativity and ingenuity. Bundle up, bring your friends and family, and go out to see what your neighbors are creating and support their efforts by purchasing their unique items. In the event of inclement weather, this outdoor event will be canceled!
