June is here! Let the month of Father’s Day and the start of summer begin! The CMA Festival is back, as are other local favorites such as Music City Gives Back and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. New events are also popping up so make sure to mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a whole lot of fun!


June 1: Nashville Health & Wellness Festival
Vanderbilt Recreation & Wellness Center | Nashville

Developed by the Nashville Health & Wellness Magazine, the festival will open with a demo by Erin Oprea, fitness trainer for Carrie Underwood, plus other industry speakers, interactive workshops and more than 200 exhibitors! The event will cover all areas of alternative, holistic, functional and traditional treatments and therapies, plus spas, fitness studios, wellness centers and more.


June 1: Kid’s Construction Fun Festival
Lucky Ladd Farms | Eagleville

Grab your kid, get your hard hats on, and gear up for some serious fun with some oversized toys! With a special construction site ready for operation, kids can help Digger Dan operate a real excavator, move sand, climb on a bulldozer, and explore other farm and construction equipment. There will also be some fun activity centers to practice skills of trade, life-size jenga games, and giant Lincoln log building sets!


June 3: Music City Gives Back
Ascend Amphitheater | Nashville

Country hitmaker Rodney Atkins will host his ninth annual ‘Music City Gives Back’ concert! Music City Gives Back is a free annual concert that benefits Nashville’s W.O. Smith School. The event will feature a performance by Michael Ray, Rodney Atkins and many more! Held in the heart of downtown Music City, this will entertain fans arriving early for CMA Music Fest week!


June 6-9: CMA Fest 2019
Downtown Nashville | Nashville

Get ready for amazing live performances, meet & greets, exclusive artists experiences, and more! Hundreds of artists will be performing for free to help fund the CMA Foundation’s mission of enriching music education programs across the country. By attending CMA Fest, you are helping the CMA Foundation work to ensure every child, no matter their situation, has an opportunity to participate in music education!


June 11: Nashville Symphony Community Concert
Historic Rock Castle | Hendersonville

Enjoy an evening of music under the stars when the Nashville Symphony comes to the Historic Rock Castle in Hendersonville! This free community concert is fun for the whole family and will include classical and popular favorites, along with prize giveaways and more. Pack a picnic and go celebrate the summer!


June 12: 2019 International Folkfest
Cannonsburgh Pioneer Village | Murfreesboro

The International Folkloric Society Planning Council is a non-profit organization based in Murfreesboro who’s mission is to promote and preserve international cultural heritage, with a primary focus on the arts! Their International Folkfest has made it possible for overseas performers to bring their talents and heritage to our local communities, as well as sending traditional Appalachian dancers and musicians to festivals all over the world.


June 13-16: Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival
Great Stage Park | Manchester

Get ready for another great weekend back on the Farm! Bonnaroo is an American annual four-day music festival that is held in Manchester, Tennessee. Main attractions of this festival are the multiple stages featuring the best in live music with a diverse array of musical styles including indie rock, classic rock, world music, hip hop, jazz, americana, bluegrass, country music, folk, gospel, reggae, pop, electronic, and other alternative music. You don’t want to miss this!


June 15: Brentfest
Crockett Park | Brentwood

Help Brentwood celebrate its 50th birthday! This free community-wide event is for everyone to enjoy and will go from the afternoon through the evening. Go on down to Crockett Park and enjoy the fun that includes a kids zone, food trucks, a beer garden, and a variety of live music!


June 21: Full Moon Pickin’ Party
Percy Warner Park | Nashville

Come on out to the barn and enjoy Nashville’s tradition of pickin’ in the park with thousands of your friends! You will find Bluegrass and Roots pickers jammin’ in circles in and around the barn while three headlining bands perform on the main stage. All funds raised by the Pickin’ Party will go towards protecting the park, as well as funding educational programs and special projects in the community!


June 22: Dinner in the Vines
Beretta Vineyards | Mt. Juliet

Experience a taste of Italy in the heart of Tennessee! Dinner in the Vines will be offering a fabulous evening benefitting The Joe Beretta Foundation. Join them for a delicious Italian meal in Mt. Juliet’s only private vineyard, as well as enjoy an evening of music, a tremendous silent auction, and wine selections handpicked by a local sommelier!
