Williamson County Fair

 

The Williamson County Fair is coming to the Williamson County agEXPO August 5th-13th with the most adorable theme. This year, the fair is bringing a little taste of New Orleans to Middle Tennessee with the theme: “Barnyard Mardi Gras.” This fair welcomes more than 200,000 guests each year and this year there will be a number of competitions, exhibits, entertainment, attractions and more. This year’s opening day entertainment kicks off with Pelican 212, the family band that was recognized on the hit shows Little Big Shots and The Tonight Show. Franklin Art Crawl

 

The first Friday of every month, Downtown Franklin hosts the Franklin Art Scene. It is a free event for all and there are free trolley rides where patrons can ride and stop anywhere from 6-9pm. Art will be displayed at dozens of sites even including the Parks on Main office, which will be featuring jewelry made from vintage marbles by Mary Catherine McAnulty and Gerald Witcher. Mafiaozas Music City Brewers Festival

 

Come out to the Music City Walk of Fame and enjoy the 15th annual Music City Brewers Festival, named one of the top 8 summer beer festivals, on August 6th. This event is split up into two sessions, the afternoon session from 12pm-4pm and the evening session from 6pm-10pm. Enjoy tastings from some of the most popular breweries in Nashville like Yazoo, Blackstone, Czann’s, Tennessee Brew Works, Jackalope, Fat Bottom and more. Bootlegger’s Bash

 

Go back in time to the prohibition-era with an event inspired by Tennessee’s unique history of bootlegging at the Bootlegger’s Bash at the Carnton Plantation on August 13th. What better way to celebrate the end of summer with whiskey tastings, a southern dinner, and old-time country music? All of the proceeds go to the maintenance and upkeep of the historic plantation and Carter House. Find out all of the details and ticket prices here.

 

Wilson County Fair

 

The Wilson Country Fair will be held from August 19th-27th at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon and will be filled with tons of entertainment for the whole family! Come out and enjoy some of the best live music, food, attractions and events in Middle Tennessee during the summer. Live music performers include CMA and ACM award winners, The Oak Ridge Boys as well as The Talley’s, Jason Crabb and The Blue’s Brokers. Depot District BBQ Festival

 

This years Depot District BBQ Festival will take place in the Historic Downtown District in Smyrna on August 20th to wrap up the end of summer with BBQ food vendors, live music and family fun!
