Our Favorite Pumpkin Patches

Whether you’ve got kids or are just a kid at heart, pumpkin patches are a must-do Fall event, at least once in your life. Get the scoop on our favorite patches around Middle Tennessee: 

Cheekwood Estate and Gardens Pumpkin Patch | Nashville

Cheekwood is approximately 8 1/2 miles southwest of downtown Nashville and is adjacent to the Percy Warner Park and Golf Course on Forrest Park Drive.

Cheekwood Estate and Gardens operates their pumpkin patch from September 23 – October 29. The famous estate is always a treat to visit due to their impeccable gardens and beautiful architecture, but fall is one of the most breathtaking seasons due to the farm’s many oak, maple, and dogwood trees sporting their spectacular fall colors. Their 5,000+ autumn-hued chrysanthemums are also in bloom, so save time for a leisurely stroll through the gardens.

Highlights of Cheekwood’s pumpkin patch include scarecrows, an 11-foot tall pumpkin house, and pumpkins for painting, carving, and purchase.

Cheekwood does not allow pets.

ADA:
Cheekwood has wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis. Their restrooms are ADA accessible, however, the grounds themselves may be challenging due to their rolling paths and occasional muddy patches.

Eat on site at Cheekwood’s Pineapple Room or bring a picnic lunch. There is also a beer garden on the weekends serving beer, cocktails, and wine.

Gentry’s Farm | Franklin

The farm is located three miles west of Franklin, Tennessee at 1974 New Highway 96 West, across from Westhaven Subdivision.

Gentry’s Farm is for the family who wants to spend all day–or all weekend–celebrating fall in full festival style. Gentry’s boasts a four-acre cornfield maze, a mini maze for younger children, an indoor maze for rainy days, a nature trail, tire swings, a log cabin, farm animals, a wooden tractor playground, and a wagon ride through the historic farm to visit the cows in their pastures.

Gentry’s Fall Festival is open Saturday, September 30th through Monday, October 30th.

Gentry’s Farm is open to the public on the weekends. Saturdays they are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm. They do not admit guests after 4:15; set aside at least an hour or two to visit all of the farm’s many attractions. The farm does close promptly at 5. If you miss them on the weekends, visit Monday morning between 9 a.m. and noon; the last admission is 11:15 a.m.

Gentry’s Farm does not allow pets.

ADA:
Handicapped parking is available, and carts and assistance are available to guests with mobility challenges. Gentry’s wants all visitors to enjoy the farm, regardless of their ability to navigate the grounds independently. Please see a farm staff member for assistance.

Children under age 2 and adults over age 65 are admitted free of charge
Military personnel will receive 2 free admissions when they present their active military ID.

Food:
Their concession stand offers popcorn, baked goods, ice-cold soft drinks, and water.

Honeysuckle Hill Farm | Springfield

Honeysuckle Hill Farm is located 30 minutes from Nashville, Hendersonville, and Clarksville, in Springfield Tennessee.

Honeysuckle Hill Farm offers visitors a Nashville Country Music Corn Maze, a relaxing ride on the Pumpkin Train, a petting zoo, and the exciting Adventure Park. Adventure Park features zip lines, a 35-foot rock wall, Slide Mountain, a bungee trampoline, and more. For visitors over the age of 10, Scream Creek opens after dark; stay if you love spooks and scares!

Honeysuckle does not allow pets.

ADA:
Honeysuckle Hill Farm is an unpaved farm ground, but their restrooms are handicapped accessible, and they are standing by to assist guests with mobility challenges.

Delicious food is available at the farm, but guests are also welcome to bring their own food.

Lucky Ladd Farms | Eagleville 

Lucky Ladd Farms pumpkin patch is located in Eagleville, Tennessee, south of Nashville halfway between Franklin and Murfreesboro.

Lucky Ladd Farms partners with local Tennessee pumpkin farms to create their pumpkin patch. Lucky Lads relies on local growers to supply their beautiful Fall Pumpkin Patch with over 10 varieties of famous Tennessee pumpkins.

Their Fall Fun Festival boasts a pumpkin carving contest, giant pumpkin slingshots, and a pageant celebrating the Pumpkin Patch Princess and Corn Maze King.

Fresh pumpkin pie is available on site.

ADA:
Lucky Ladd Farms is difficult for guests with limited mobility to navigate, but motorized wheelchairs and chairs with larger wheels are best for the farm’s uneven terrain. However, the farm cannot provide charging stations or wheelchair rentals. They are happy to assist guests, however; just ask any staff member upon your arrival.

Food:
Guests are welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy at Lucky Ladd’s courtesy picnic area, which is located adjacent to the parking area, outside the farm gates. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Lucky Ladd Farms does not grant use of these tables for birthday parties or extended periods of time. They do not allow grills or glass containers.

Lucky Ladd Farms also serves a variety of foods in their dining facility for guests who prefer to dine inside the farm gates. However, guests with infants or special dietary needs may be permitted to bring food into the farm; ask at the ticket counter upon arrival.

Pumpkin Hill | Mt. Juliet

Pumpkin Hill is a 200-acre working farm. Visitors to the beautiful farm will be able to choose pumpkins for carving or eating, take a hayride, gather around a campfire, and wander a corn maze. Pumpkin Hill offers a true farm experience.

They are open on weekends from October 8th through October 30th. Their hours are Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm. Beginning Monday, October 17th, they are also open on Mondays through the end of the month.

Farm tours run every hour from 9am – 11am.

Admission:
Hayrides are $4 per person. The last hayride leaves at 4:30 pm. Pumpkin Hill only accepts cash or local checks.
