Ready for a warm month? Kids are out of school and it seems like everyone is already living at the pool! There are lots of events taking advantage of the lovely weather this month to drag you away though! From hanging at the zoo to free music to watermelon seed spitting contests, you certainly won’t be bored this month! Here’s your look at things to do in Middle Tennessee!

Nashville Zoo |

Brew at the Zoo is a renowned event combing craft beer, music, food trucks, and all the amazing animals at the Nashville Zoo! With over 100 craft beers on tap, Nashville residents have voted it as the best beer event in the Nashville Scene in 2014 and 2016! Buy tickets here!

Charlie Daniels Park |
Mt. Juliet

Come out and enjoy a screening of Moana at Charlie Daniels Park! There is free parking and the movie will start at dusk. Definitely bring your chairs or a blanket to enjoy the screening of this fantastic children’s movie!

Hazel Path |

Come and enjoy music on the porches throughout Hazel Path and Business Park! This is the 3rd Porch fest and it just keeps getting better! In addition to live music, visitors can buy food from amazing foot trucks, explore the Kids Zone, go to the art show, and shop! We suggest bringing a lawn chair or blanket so you can sit and enjoy all day!

Centennial Park |

Love dancing? Then you’ll love this free event that happens every Saturday throughout the summer! Enjoy music from the big band era and dance the night away! They also offer two free dance lessons, 7 pm – 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm – 8:50 pm.

Throughout the month of June, the Nashville Symphony is bringing free music to Middle Tennessee! These events are all free and happen all over the area. Their first date is the 7th and they’ll be playing at Musicians Corner in Centennial Park! Bring a blanket or chairs to enjoy the music all night long!

The Village of Hampshire |

Keep your shopping local by attending this festival! There will be “live music, food trucks, vendors, small business shopping, local wineries, organic farms, and a kid’s zone,” according to their website! If you haven’t made it to Hampshire yet, they describe themselves as the “Napa Valley” of Tennessee. They say this because they have 2 wineries in the area! This unique town is truly charming and is full of artisans!
