Living close to a park is ideal for anyone who loves the outdoors. With a park nearby, you’ll be able to take leisurely walks anytime you want. You will also have a safe place to exercise if you like to do so in the fresh, outside air.

Here, we will list several neighborhoods near Nashville and the surrounding towns that all have parks nearby.

Belle Meade

This quaint yet affluent town was named after the Belle Meade Plantation that was sold in 1904 and turned into the neighborhood it is today. Percy Warner Park is located along Belle Meade Boulevard. Along with a beautiful park, you’ll also find the Belle Meade Country Club as well as the well-known Sperry’s restaurant, which is known for its delicious beef and seafood.

Green Hills

Located adjacent to Belle Meade, Green Hills is a sweet neighborhood that also connects up with Percy Warner Park. Here, you’ll find Cape Cod homes aplenty, many of which have additions built on to them to accommodate growing families. All of the schools in Green Hills have stellar reputations, too.

Sylvan Park

Known as a “hot” place to live, Sylvan Park is bursting with unique eateries and fun stores in which you can shop. Regardless of what type of food you’re craving, you’ll find it in this neighborhood. Along with great restaurants and stores, you’ll also find the West Nashville farmers market that runs all year long. During winter months, the farmers market moves into a nearby structure known as the Love building. McCabe Community Center is a fantastic place to exercise, or you can take walks in the park called The Greenway.

Nolensville

This middle Tennessee neighborhood gives off an extremely friendly vibe. A beautifully historic location, Nolensville offers its residents the small town living experience with its low crime rates and adorable boutiques. Nolensville Park is great for kids and their parents alike, as is Owl Creek Park.
