The area to the west of Nashville is made up of several growing neighborhoods that are gaining a lot of deserved praise. Sylvan Park, Sylvan Heights, and Charlotte Park are two such neighborhoods, and the distinct but bordering communities have secured a unique, entrepreneurial, and giving identity. The area’s proximity to well-do neighborhoods such as West End lend it a high-end vibe, but locals have worked hard to keep its unique and vibrant flair alive. One of a kind shops and restaurants line the main thoroughfares and give residents options from vintage thrift shops and burger joints to more upscale boutiques and fine dining establishments.
Some of Nashville’s favorite philanthropic businesses call West Nashville Home. Thistle Farms offers natural home and body products in one shop, and their cafe next door serves up delicious breakfast and lunch dishes in a homey atmosphere. Their mission is to heal and employ women recovering from abuse and addiction. Project 615 makes some of the best t-shirts in town and similarly employs recovering Nashvillians and benefits several local charities.

McCabe Golf Course and Community Center offers fun for all ages and the Richland Creek Greenway is often busy with walkers, runners, and bikers. The area has endless remodeling opportunities with cottages, bungalows, and craftsman charmers galore. Condos and townhomes are also popping up, ideal for those looking for a convenient lifestyle close to downtown. The area has long attracted young professionals, families, and retirees, making it a diverse and welcoming environment to all. Spend some time in Sylvan Park, Sylvan Heights, and Charlotte Park and you may find yourself wanting to call it home as well.

The Charlotte Ave location of Climb Nashville is the premier destination for climbing, fitness, and yoga in Nashville.
