September around Middle Tennessee is jammed packed with amazing concerts, festivals, and even the state fair! Take a look at whats ahead for the month to come.

 

Southern Living #NashvilleNow Weekend

Southern Living has chosen to feature the city of Nashville to celebrate their 50th anniversary! The magazine has set up a weekend at local restaurants, bars, boutiques and art galleries to show you all of the latest happenings in Music City. You can purchase individual tickets to each event happening all over the city like the craft beer and hot chicken tasting, a honky tonk crawl, a blues brunch and more! Taste of Hendersonville

Make sure to come hungry to the Taste of Hendersonville on September 8th. This yearly event showcases local restaurants, groceries and caterers who each have a booth sampling their best foods. Attendees then buy a punch card and sample each vendors food and vote for awards such as “Best Taste,” “Best National Restaurant,” and “People’s Choice.” Come out for great food and see all of the amazing things Hendersonville has to offer! Tennessee State Fair

The Tennessee State Fair is a landmark event 150 years in the making. This year, the fair will host the theme “A Tennessee Tradition” in hopes to showcase the traditions of family fun, educational experiences and overall state pride. This entertainment filled 10-day event will be taking place at the fair grounds on September 9th-18th. Come by to explore agriculture, arts and crafts and thrilling rides while also tasting some of the best southern cooking Tennessee has to offer. Depot Days

One of Smyrna’s most well-known annual events, Depot Days draws in thousands to Historic Downtown Smyrna for 2 days to enjoy food, live music and family-friendly attractions. This year they will feature a beer garden, 2 live performance stages, and a Pokemon Go hunt. Come out September 24th and 25th to enjoy this fun event for all ages!

 

Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival

Set on a beautiful century-old horse farm, The Park at Harlinsdale, a music festival takes place to inspire friendship, history and the desire to create a meaningful experience. The Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival is a 2-day music festival in the rolling hills of Franklin, TN that has a diverse line-up from country, rock, bluegrass jazz and more. Happening on September 24th & 25th, this years line-up features artists like Beck, Kacey Musgraves, Brothers Osborne, Grace Porter and Anderson East, plus many more.
