March is here! Let the month of St. Patrick’s Day, a lot of rain, and the first day of spring, begin! The Music City Irish Fest is back, as are other local favorites such as Wine & Whiskey at the Wetlands and Taste of Williamson. New events are also popping up so make sure to mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a whole lot of fun!


March 1: Wine & Whiskey at the Wetlands
The Discovery Center | Murfreesboro

Surrounded by the Murfree Spring Wetlands, join The Discovery Center for the 6th annual fine wine & whiskey event! Featuring 150+ exceptional local and crafted wines, fine whiskeys, and spirits provided by Stones River Total Beverages, guests can visit multiple stations throughout the museum. Experts will be providing details about each wine, along with a mark-your-favorite drink guide, and a sample of hors d’oeuvres!


March 1-2: World’s Toughest Rodeo
Bridgestone Arena | Nashville

After 40 years of bringing the Ol’ West to cities across the country, fans can expect the absolute best of the best in cowboy and animal athletes competing to not only be the “Toughest in the World,” but for the ultimate opportunity to compete at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV for the World Champion title. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet the cowboys, cowgirls, and specialty entertainers, get autographs, and have special photo ops!


March 2: Weed Wrangle Day
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens | Nashville

Weed Wrangle is a one-day, citywide, volunteer effort to help rescue public parks and green spaces from invasive species through hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants! Supervised by an expert in invasive weed management, volunteers will learn, practice, and begin a habit of maintaining an area free of invasive plants.


March 3: Taste of Williamson
CoolSprings Galleria | Franklin

Presented by Nissan, Taste of Williamson is an annual favorite of the local and regional community, featuring the area’s best food and beverages. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet chefs, sip a favorite beverage, taste local restaurant offerings, and enjoy musical entertainment as they stroll from station to station! All proceeds will benefit the United Way of Williamson County and its partner agencies.


March 7: GnashVegas Casino Night & Auction
Bridgestone Arena | Nashville

Rolling into its eighth year, GnashVegas gives you the opportunity to challenge Roman Josi to a game of blackjack, see if your poker face is better than Pekka Rinne’s, or join Ryan Johansen as he rolls the dice at the craps table! Fans are invited to mix and mingle at the casino tables with Preds players, coaches, and broadcasters. You will also get to enjoy delicious food from local restaurants and tasty beverages from an open bar! Proceeds will benefit hundreds of non-profit organizations in the Middle Tennessee community.


March 9: Sumner County Irish Festival
Bledsoe’s Fort Historical Park | Castalian Springs

Celebrate the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day by experiencing live Irish music, beer on tap, and the tastiness of food trucks! Vendors will have items for sale and tours will be given of the Rogan cottage, an authentic Irish dwelling built c.1800. There will also be guided hikes of the Bledsoe Fort Historical Park trail and exhibition games of hurling and Gaelic football!


March 15-16: Maury County Home & Garden Show
Maury County Park | Columbia

Get the chance to visit over 35 vendors for all of your home and garden needs, all for free! There will be giveaways, door prizes, and much more. Children will have the opportunity to decorate a clay pot and plant their very own herb to take home. The Maury County Soil Conservation District will also be giving out free tree seedlings to Maury County residents! This year’s bundles will include White Flowering Dogwood, White Walnut, and White Pine.


March 16-17: St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Celebration
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens | Nashville

Join Cheekwood in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long! Get your friends and family ready for phenomenal food trucks, amazing live music, seasonal beers, and craft cocktails, all while set among the greenest place in Nashville!


March 17: Music City Irish Fest
Public Square Park | Nashville

Visit the annual Music City Irish Fest for an all-day celebration of St. Patrick’s Day! All for free, get the opportunity to experience Irish music and performances, traditional Irish games, food, beer, and lots of green! If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly Irish festival, this is the spot.


March 30-31: BrickUniverse LEGO Fan Expo
Wilson County Expo Center | Lebanon

BrickUniverse is going to be the ultimate LEGO fan experience! Get your chance to experience hands-on LEGO attractions and activities built to inspire, educate, and entertain. This fun, family-friendly event will have tons of amazing LEGO creations, building zones to unleash your creative energy, and vendors selling the latest LEGO sets, mini-figures, and accessories!
