Let the month of International Women's Day, St. Patrick Day celebration, and the first day of the spring season, begin! Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival is back, as are other local favorites like Taste of Williamson and the County Sumner Irish Festival. New events are always popping up so make sure to mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a whole lot of fun!


March 1st: Nashville Opera Noir Filmfest - Black & White Bash
Noah Liff Opera Center | Nashville

Some of Tennessee’s most innovative filmmakers have been invited to this film festival to create three-minute, black-and-white films inspired by John Hoomes’ new noir staging of Verdi’s RIGOLETTO. Guests will get to see the finalists’ entries, meet the creators, and celebrate the winners. Your ticket also includes a live jazz combo, killer cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres, as well as original film screening!


March 6th: Wine & Whiskey at the Wetlands
The Discovery Center | Murfreesboro

Surrounded by the Murfree Spring Wetlands, this 7th annual fine wine and whiskey event features 150+ exceptional local and crafted wines, fine whiskeys, and spirits! Guests can visit multiple stations throughout the museum with experts providing details about each wine, along with a mark-your-favorite drink guide. Food will also be available for purchase from Cousin’s Maine Lobster and The Steaming Goat!


March 6th: Fabulously Funny Comedy Festival
Nashville Municipal Auditorium | Nashville

The Fabulously Funny Comedy Tour has made its spring debut, embarking on its first, 30+ city national tour that includes Nashville! This show-stopping extravaganza features an unforgettably hilarious lineup of iconic comedians – including Mike Epps, Sommore, Gary Owen, and Kountry Wayne. Don't miss out on this afternoon of endless laughter!


March 7th: 2020 County Sumner Irish Festival
Bledsoe's Fort Historical Park | Castalian Springs

The County Sumner Irish Festival celebrates all things Irish with a splash of Tennessee! From live music, games, hikes, craft beer, and much more, there’s truly something for everyone. The live Irish music is sure to have everyone dancing and toe-tapping! The event also includes guided hikes, storytelling, craft beer from Half Batch Brewing, historic house tours, and tons of food vendors. 


March 7th: Paws for a Cause 5k Run
Charlie Daniels Park | Mt. Juliet

Grab your furry friend and come join us for this awesome 5k! The course is on a certified route and there will be an official timing group present. Of course, the race is dog-friendly and all proceeds benefit the programs of New Leash on Life. Come have fun running or walking with your dog and help animals in need too. You couldn't ask for a better event for a great cause!


March 8th: Taste of Williamson
Cool Springs Galleria | Franklin

Taste of Williamson is an all-inclusive food and social gathering that features the region’s best local restaurants, national eateries, caterers, and chefs! Each year, friends and families look forward to this after-hours mall event. The community comes together for good eats and a delightful evening in support of United Way and 27 partner agencies. Tickets are only $35, so don't miss out on all that amazing food!


March 14th: The Bloody Mary Festival
Track One | Nashville

Don't miss the brunch-time party of the year! This event has Nashville's best Bloody Marys, and so much more, all under one roof, for one day only. From The Gulch to East Nashville to Franklin, they have scoured Nashville for the craftiest and most delicious Bloody Marys. Guest's tickets will include unlimited Bloody Marys created by the finest bars and restaurants, food and beverage tastes from local companies, one vote for The People's Choice Award, temporary tattoos, photo ops, and more!


March 14th: Nashville "Luck of the Irish" Pub Crawl

Get on your green garb and get down to Nashville to join in the St Paddy's festivities. March 24-28th: Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival
Multiple Venues | Nashville

The 28th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival reigns as the world’s largest all-songwriter festival! Thousands of music fans attend the event annually to hear songwriters tell stories behind hit songs they have written and perform the songs as they were originally composed. The event will be held at 10 Nashville-area music venues featuring hit-makers from all genres of music. This experience is truly special!


March 29th: Chickasaw Trace Classic
Chickasaw Trace Park | Columbia

This nine-mile single track course offers a nice variety of scenic and fun challenges for riders! The first four miles are fairly tame and followed by five miles of more challenging terrain. These races are great for elite, average, beginners and juniors, so all should feel free to participate. Generous payouts, prizes, and awards await those who are at the top of their class! If you're looking for a solid day in the outdoors, this event is perfect for you.
