The holiday season in Middle Tennessee is one of the most fun-filled, activity-packed events in the nation. Home Alone at Hidden Bar

Feeling nostalgic? Head to this Home Alone-inspired bar to be transported to the McCallister home circa 1990—complete with the famous residence’s signature décor and design elements that will recall memorable moments. Of course, you’ll also enjoy Hidden Bar’s Home Alone-themed snacks and expertly made craft cocktails. 


City Tap House’s Winter Wonderland

204 3rd Avenue South | Nashville

City Tap House has created a cozy rooftop retreat of heated igloos, complete with craft cocktails, delectable bites, and live music. Stop by Thursday through Saturday from 4 pm to 10 pm to snag a first-come, first-served igloo, or reserve your hideaway for parties (up to eight people) in advance by emailing City Tap House. We highly recommend you guarantee your spot ahead of time because these heated igloos do go quickly! 


Snow Birds at Rare Bird

200 4th Avenue North - Top Floor | Nashville

Thirteen floors up, atop hotel Noelle Nashville, Rare Bird rooftop bar has transformed the usual luxe setting into a chic winter getaway. Curl up under plush blankets, pop open a sparkling wine, and enjoy a classic movie next to a crackling fire as the city skyline twinkles below. Snow Birds is open every Friday and Saturday.


Reindeer Games: A Christmas Pop-Up Bar

114 2nd Ave S | Nashville

Join in the Headquarters Beercade’s 4th annual Reindeer Games! This immersive winter wonderland has been bedecked with thousands of ornaments, 2k feet of holiday lights, 3D festive tree displays, a life-size Santa’s sleigh, and an extensive list of cocktails and themed menu items. Walk-ins are welcome! There’s no cover charge, but there is a two-drink minimum per guest.


Camp Bobby: A Winter Pop-Up Experience

230 4th Ave N | Nashville

The Bobby Hotel’s rooftop lounge has gone groovy, baby! Head up 10 stories, and travel back to the 1970s. Camp out in an igloo, go ice skating, and relax by your own personal campfire. Admission to the Camper Lounge is for walk-in guests only, while Campfire Igloos (for up to 6 guests) are available by reservation only.

Campfire Igloo reservations include ice skating admission. Otherwise, pond skating access is $10 per guest per hour.

Admission to Hotel Bobby’s igloos requires a minimum $200 food and beverage order Sunday-Thursday (this increases to $300 Friday-Saturday), a reservation fee of $25, and a minimum of an 18% gratuity. Igloos are reserved for 90 minutes. 


Misfit Bar

Fairlane Hotel has opened their holiday-themed Misfits Bar in their penthouse, where you can enjoy drinks and snacks beside crackling fire pits. Try one of their catchy Christmas cocktails; you’re sure to warm up with the Baby It’s Cold Outside: A blend of red wine, cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves, honey, and brandy. If you’re looking for something sweet, hot cocoa with a splash of peppermint-infused vodka (house-made) topped with whipped cream are the yummy ingredients in their Cuffing Season cocktail. Yum!


Candy Cane Jane’s

Jane’s Hideaway invites you to their 6th-floor Christmas cocktail lounge, Candy Cane Jane’s. Open Wednesday through Sunday, guests can relax in a virtual forest of twinkling Christmas trees. Indoor and outdoor seating is available on the rooftop, where you can enjoy holiday themed drinks and snacks. First-come, first-served. Doors open at 5 pm. 


Winter Solstice

1000 Broadway | Nashville

December 2, 2021 to February 27, 2022

The Grand Hyatt Nashville will launch Winter Solstice poolside on their 5th floor rooftop lounge on December 2nd. Guests are invited to enjoy convenient parking via the hotel’s complimentary valet service, then head up to a cozy ski lodge-themed getaway. Festive cocktails will be served Thursday – Sunday, 2 pm to 10 pm.


Saint Nicky’s

Santa Sips

The Nashville Zoo is hosting Santa Sips: a new, adults-only holiday event. Guests are invited to sample unlimited beverages from many companies (including craft cocktails), order from food trucks, enjoy live holiday music, say hello to Santa and the Grinch, take in four animal encounters, participate in a silent auction, and more!

Give back to the Nashville Community Resource Center with a gift of a new hat, gloves, or scarf, and you’ll be given an unlimited carousel pass for Santa Sips.

Tickets are $40 for designated drivers, and $80 for sippers. Zoo members receive $5 off their entry fee.

Dickens of a Christmas

December 11-12, 10 am to 6 pm

The 36th annual Dickens festival will take place in Franklin’s Town Square in mid-December. Escape into a family-friendly Victorian holiday wonderland taken right from the pages of a Dickens novel along with more than 50,000 attendees. Street performers in historical garb will be there, too, as will many vendors and characters from your favorite Dickens tales. Complete your celebration with a horse-drawn carriage ride!


Nashville’s Nutcracker

Nashville’s Nutcracker needs no introduction. This classic ballet will be performed at Tennessee's Performance Art Center in beautiful Jackson Hall. This family-friendly performance is one of Nashville’s most beloved holiday traditions. Bring your family for a year-end performance they’ll never forget! Tickets are available here.


A Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage

505 Deaderick St | Nashville

December 16-22, 2021

Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage is coming to Tennessee’s Performance Art Center in the James K. Polk Theater! Come for a family-friendly show featuring all your favorite Peanuts characters. Admission starts at $25. Tickets are available here.


The Elves and The Shoemaker

25 Middleton St | Nashville

November 26, 2021 – December 19, 2021

This world premiere of the Elves and the Shoemaker (inspired by the Brothers Grimm) is a playful story event hosted by the Nashville Children’s Theater. Come seat yourselves directly on the stage, and dive into this rags-to-riches tale full of magic, mystery, and the perfect amount of giggles.

This production has been created for audience members age 4+. Admission is $17 for children and $23 for adults. Tickets are available here.


East Nash Holiday Bash

Five Points Neighborhood | Nashville

December 2-4, 2021, 4 pm – 9 pm

This year, head to the Five Points neighborhood in East Nashville to join in a community festival! This experience is free to the public and open to all ages. Tito’s Handmade Vodka proudly presents this Holiday Bash, featuring cocktails, live holiday music, a campfire, activities for the whole family, and vendors from our own community. 


Holiday Pop-Up

12 South Farmers Market invites you to stop by The Garden Stop from 12 – 4 pm for live music, craft beer, mini golf, food trucks, a dog park, and vendors from our own community. Admission is free, and guests of all ages are welcome. 


Porter Flea Holiday Market

625 Smith Ave | Nashville

December 10-11, 2021

The Nashville Fairgrounds will be open for the annual Porter Flea Market this year. Shoppers age 21+ are invited to stop by for the preview event on Friday, December 10th from 6 pm – 9 pm. The general public is then invited to shop at the open market on the 11th from 10 am to 5 pm.

More than 200 vendors will be selling unique holiday goods and gifts, making this the perfect destination for those of us shopping for something special for our friends and family members.

On-site parking is $5.


Winter Wonder at Fifth + Broadway

Winter Wonder is a free, family-friendly festive event featuring live music, holiday eats, custom stocking embroidery, free gift wrapping, face painting, and so much more!
