With football season back in action, you may notice a little extra hop in the step of some of your favorite football fans. A time when the air starts to cool, fans unite, and the weekends are blocked off for everything-football – for the football enthusiast, the happiest time of the year is upon us!
Whether you’re a die hard fan or just enjoy a good tailgatin’ spread, the perfect place to watch college football on the weekend is quite the addition to your fall social calendar. Here’s a rundown of some of our favorite places to enjoy a good gameday:
Double Dogs
Hillsboro Village & Sylvan Park
Great game day fare aside, this place has got your TV and audio needs on lockdown. With plenty of flat screens, a large projector screen, and individual audio for each table, you won’t miss a play. Most novel perk? There are even TVs in the bathroom.
M.L Rose
Melrose & Sylvan Park
The burgers do not disappoint, the waffle fries are what dreams are made of – and a little added bonus? 2-for-1 brunch drinks on Saturdays until 2pm.
Beyond the Edge
East Nashville
With the perfect, 5 points location in East Nashville, this is a well-loved place to watch a game with the added convenience of being able to walk to a host of other bars before or after the game. Although with 125 beer options, that may not be needed.
Jonathan’s Grille
Bellevue
Touting themselves as the “upscale” sports bar, if you find yourself on the west side of nashville, Jonathan’s Grille has enough TVs to please and some gourmet touches to your favorite bar food. P.S. $5 Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s and 2-for-1 beers-of-the-month on Saturdays!
Brewhouse South
Franklin
Being a little south of Nashville on a game day means that you can treat yourself to the 70+ drafts of Brewhouse South. Their variety doesn’t stop there either, with an extensive menu, with a little cajun twist. And of course, there are plenty of TVs and a dart board!
