The 20th Annual Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival

Nashville is a fantastic place to live because it is a melting pot of many cultures, and the Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival is a great event that showcases all of the culture that Nashville has to offer. The free festival will feature a variety of music and dance performances on 5 different stages as well as food vendors that will be offering exotic tastes from around the globe. The world market will be filled with booths that will not only have imported and hand-made items from around the world, but also information on various non-profits and services that benefit our community around the world. Happening on October 1st from 10am-6pm at Centennial Park.

 

Gallatin’s Main Street Festival

The first Saturday in October each year is Gallatin’s Main Street Festival in Downtown Gallatin. This festival draws in over 20,000 people each year and has become a town favorite. There will be children’s area, food vendors, craftsman and 2 stages for live entertainment. Happening from 10am-5pm on October 1st.

 

Art @ PARKS

Come to Parks Realty in Green Hills for an evening filled with stunning artwork by Anna Baskin Floyd, Donna Littleton, and Tracie Grace Riesgo. Enjoy food, wine, and music from 6-8pm on October 6th.

 

Nashville Oktoberfest

On October 7th, 8th and 9th, Nashville’s Oktoberfest will be taking place in Historic Germantown. There is so much fun to be had like a parade on 7th Ave. N and Monroe Street, led by Mayor Megan Berry, an Oktoberfest 5k Bier Run, pup parade, bratwurst eating contest, the world’s longest beer slide and so much more. Tennessee Craft Week

Tennessee Craft Week is an event that celebrates craft artists, their work, and their businesses. It will also showcase how Made in Tennessee is so important to Tennessee’s identity and economy. Come out and enjoy workshops, demonstrations and craft fairs all week. It will take place on October 7-16th.

 

Parade of Homes @ Hideaway at Arrington

Hideaway at Arrington will be hosting the Home Builder’s Association of Middle Tennessee’s 2016 Parade of Homes October 8th-23rd. This year will be HBAMT’s largest Parade of Homes yet by featuring 7 of the best builder’s in the area. Tickets will be $12 per adult at the door and children under 12 will be free.
