Music City Hot Chicken Festival

Each year on the 4th of July, the annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival is held at East Park at 700 Woodland Street. Many gather to come experience the Nashville Hot Chicken hype from some of Nashville’s most renowned hot chicken establishments. This FREE event hosts a Fire Truck Parade, has an amateur Hot Chicken making contest, and has live music from local bands playing all day long. The parade starts at 10:30am followed by FREE hot chicken samples to the first 500 people in line and the festival gates will open at 11:00am. The festival will end at 3:00pm so that people can make their way downtown for the Let Freedom Sing! Nashville Spectacular Fireworks Show.
